Back problems resolved
My husband massaged my back twice a day for the next few days and the impact it had was incredible. All the pain disappeared very quickly and I was able to regain mobility within two weeks of first injuring my back.
In late November 2007, I damaged my back. Ten years previously, I had slipped a disc in my lower back and was off work for several weeks. This time, however, was different. I was in a great deal of pain and found it very difficult to get comfortable. After a nights rest, my back seemed to get better, so I was able to move about, albeit very slowly. However, the next day when I woke up, I could not move and the pain was excruciating and my whole back was going into spasm. I managed to get up and go to the toilet but nearly passed out on the way back to the bedroom. I had to call my husband at work, who called my Doctor for me. My Doctor came out to see me and she thought the problem was muscular and prescribed three different types of drugs; painkillers, anti-inflammatories and anti-depressants! They eased the pain short term but left me feeling quite ill and tired. My husband suggested we get Julie Soroczyn from Thera-People to come and have a look and bring along the portable Deep Oscillation
Personal. I knew that she had helped my husband with his back problems and so I was willing to give it a go. Julie visited the following day and treated my back for 45 minutes. She explained to me how it would work and I thought it would be wonderful if it could get me back on my feet again. Julie left the unit for us to use, having explained exactly how to use it. My husband massaged my back twice a day for the next few days and the impact it had was incredible. All the pain disappeared very quickly and I was able to regain mobility within two weeks of first injuring my back. I was slightly skeptical at first, but I have to say that, having experienced this type of treatment, it really does work. It was good for me because I did not want to keep on taking so many tablets and it is a brilliant alternative to drug therapy.
