POST SPINAL FUSION - SELF CARE WITH DEEP OSCILLATION

Managing pain at home with the Deep Oscillation Personal Sports

"I am a 45 year old male with spinal fusion S5-L4.

My post-op physio was poor and I have seen at least a mix of seven to ten Physiotherapists, over a period of the last nine years, with little or no effect to stop chronic back ache and poor mobility on a day-to-day basis until 2019.

I then went to see a Chartered Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist based in Fakenham, Norfolk because I was in chronic pain and had poor movement. This Physiotherapist was recommended to me.

I had weekly sessions to improve movement and the lower back pain levels reduced to almost nothing after three months of treatment using the Deep Oscillation method and various exercise programmes.

The outcome of this is that I have now brought a personal Physiopod unit to manage my back muscles when they tighten (once a week) and I see the same physio once a month.

I can honestly say that the Physiopod has changed my life in terms of my day to day pain, with nearly no pain killers and my movement has increased by a good 70%.

My only wish is that I had this treatment nine years ago in my post op recuperation."
