PhysioPod® are proud to be associated with the Talk Lipoedema Support Group and have over the years attended/supported their events in the UK, providing information on DEEP OSCILLATION®, Practitioners using, demonstrations of the personal units for self-management and providing tasters of the therapy; including showing partners/supportive others how they too can get involved with treatment.  

Jill, Talk Lipoedema Member Tells 'Her Story'

As 2015 drew to a close, PhysioPod invited Jill, aged 74 (now sadly passed) to share her story of how Lipoedema had affected her life since the age of 12 and the years of being told to lose weight, which made no difference to her condition. After finally receiving a correct diagnosis in 2012, Jill made new lifestyle choices and received effective non-invasive treatments. With the support of Talk Lipoedema, there was no stopping her as she shared her ultimate goal for 2016!

Alex invited PhysioPod™ UK Ltd to exhibit at the Talk Lipoedema Spring Conference whilst at BLS 2014.  They were delighted to accept.

Alex is also a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and Honorary Clinical Professor at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine, Macquarie University, Sydney.  DEEP OSCILLATION® has been used since 2012 within the Plastic Surgery Clinic at Ninewells Hospital under the direction of Alex Munnoch.

The Gala Evening included a Fashion Show featuring 12 ladies with Lipoedema, modelling a range of clothes chosen by Nina Blakemore, plus size model and TV presenter.

An amazing evening and there wasn't a dry eye in the house as the ladies strutted their stuff down the catwalk to huge rounds of applause
