About Christine Talbot SRN – MLD, DLT, Lymphoedema & Bowen Practitioner.
Christine Talbot, SRN, is a highly respected and pioneering practitioner qualified in the Vodder, Medical Leduc, and Casley-Smith techniques of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy. Having first met the PhysioPod® UK team at a Deep Oscillation demonstration in Bridport, Dorset, in 2008/2009, Christine has forged a wonderful working relationship and friendship that has stayed strong for over 16 years.
Advocacy & Raising Awareness: Since integrating Deep Oscillation into her practice, Christine has been a passionate advocate for the therapy, transforming her patients' quality of life and empowering many to self-manage their conditions at home using the DEEP OSCILLATION® Personal unit. Her dedication to raising awareness includes the following:
-
Christine presented Deep Oscillation live at Camexpo 2011, spoke to Silver Island TV at MLDUK Conference in 2018 about her work, and has shared her knowledge on radio shows like Holistic Hour and Barefoot Broadcasting.
-
Patient Gatherings: Over the years, she has arranged numerous gatherings for patients to meet Mary and Julie, aka the PhysioPod team. This includes a major celebration at Stoborough Village Hall in February 2019, where over 50 attendees gathered and several gave video interviews detailing how Christine’s combined MLD and Deep Oscillation treatments changed their lives.
-
Charitable Work: Christine continues to give back to her community, most recently organising a "Winter Tea" in January 2025 in aid of The Dorset Cancer Care Foundation.
-
Inspiring Future Therapists: Her exceptional standard of care has even inspired former patients to train and become therapists themselves.
Clinical Case Studies: Beyond Lymphoedema
While celebrated for her treatment of lymphoedema, Christine has meticulously documented her clinical findings to advance the entire field of non-invasive healing. Her vast portfolio of clinical reports showcases profound healing across a variety of complex fields:
-
Lymphoedema & Chronic Ulceration: Christine has successfully implemented unique holistic approaches to heal chronic, non-healing leg ulcers in vulnerable patients. Her published case studies also include treating inguinal lymph node pain in a Multiple Sclerosis patient and using a combined approach of Deep Oscillation and MAGCELL® MICROCIRC to heal a sea urchin sting on a primary lymphoedema patient.
-
Surgical Recovery & Scar Management: She provides specialist care for complex post-operative recovery. Her documented work includes resolving intense nerve pain from a Caesarean section scar months postpartum, as well as aiding recovery following double mastectomies with reconstructive implants and cosmetic surgeries performed abroad.
-
Wound Management & Severe Trauma: Christine has accelerated tissue repair in extreme trauma cases. Her reports chronicle the healing of a deep knife wound from a butternut squash, a paediatric head injury requiring A&E repair for a three-year-old, severe chemical cement burns, facial trauma, and distal radial fractures.
-
Oncology & Internal Conditions: Beyond external tissue healing, she has documented compassionate symptom management for grade II Leiomyosarcoma and pioneered the use of Deep Oscillation for internal digestive issues, such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
-
Veterinary Care: Christine extends her gentle, non-invasive healing to animals, documenting soothing treatments for young puppies and chronicling the remarkable post-surgical recovery of a Springer Spaniel named Jack after suffering a severe barbed wire tear.
Through her diverse case studies and decades of dedicated holistic care, Christine Talbot has proven that whether she is treating a post-operative scar, severe trauma, chronic swelling, or a beloved family pet, her innovative therapies profoundly change her patients' lives.
