About DEEP OSCILLATION® for the horse and their rider
In contrast to externally applied, mechanical forms of therapy, (e.g. vibration), the therapy effect of DEEP OSCILLATION® takes place in the tissue itself and works through the entire depth of the tissue layers to a depth of 8 cm (skin, connective tissue, subcutaneous fat, muscles, blood and lymph vessels). The effects of deep oscillation have been listed in many clinical references including 12 PubMed peer-reviewed studies.
DEEP OSCILLATION® therapy is a gentle, relaxing, non-invasive, non-traumatic treatment, which can be applied immediately after injury and day one post operatively. It works in acute and chronic situations alike and it is clinically proven to significantly reduce pain, swelling and bruising, resulting in a dynamic wound healing with less resultant scar tissue. Mobility is regained and a quicker return to normal activities is enabled.
