NEW - Treatments combined with clinically proven Deep Oscillation
(where appropriate)
In contrast to externally applied, mechanical forms of therapy, (e.g. vibration), the therapy effect of DEEP OSCILLATION® takes place in the tissue itself and works through the entire depth of the tissue layers to a depth of 8 cm (skin, connective tissue, subcutaneous fat, muscles, blood and lymph vessels). The effects of deep oscillation have been listed in many clinical references including 13 PubMed peer-reviewed studies.
DEEP OSCILLATION® therapy is a gentle, relaxing, non-invasive, non-traumatic treatment, which can be applied immediately after injury and day one post operatively. It works in acute and chronic situations alike and it is clinically proven to significantly reduce pain, swelling and bruising, resulting in a dynamic wound healing with less resultant scar tissue. Mobility is regained and a quicker return to normal activities is enabled.

Personal Profile
Before becoming a therapist I spent 23 years working with National Hunt horses, Hunter Chasers and Point-
A life and career change set me on the path of complementary therapy, training at first to treat people.
I qualified in Remedial Massage and Sports Injury in 1995, with the ‘Northern Institute of Massage’ and travelled as Sports Therapist with the Women’s Cycle Racing Association British Team to their German Internationale Thuringen Rundfahrt in 1996 and again in 1997.
To extend my range of treatments I became a practitioner of ‘Bowen Technique’ in 1998, having qualified with the ‘Bowen Academy of Australia’. Since then I have attended three further types of human myofascial release courses as part of my continued professional development.
These are:
-
Soft Tissue Release -

Anatomy Trains – Myofascial Meridians with James Earl/Tom Myers
-
Orthopaedic Massage & Pain Management Seminar -
James Waslaski
In 2009 I upgraded my training to become a fully registered Health Professions Council Physiotherapist. N.B. Human treatments can usually be claimed on medical insurance if physiotherapy is covered.
Horse’s returned to my life in 1999 when I trained as an Equine Muscle Release Therapist with the Equus College of Learning & Research. Since then I have treated horses and ponies from all competitive disciplines.
From 1999 – 2008 I served as UK co-
