Sue Urquhart is an experienced and accredited practitioner of the Bowen technique, Blend TMJ and ScarWork. Having trained at the College of Bowen, Sue consults from her home at Birchill, which lies between Chard and Axminster. After qualifying as a veterinary surgeon in 1979, Sue practiced as a small animal vet for 36 years having her own practice in Edinburgh. Sue came across the Bowen Technique when a client told her about her experience of Bowen on her lame dog who had improved greatly after the treatment; where conventional anti-inflammatories and pain-relieving drugs had failed. After researching Bowen, Sue realised that it had a place in pain control and general wellbeing by reducing the dependency that many people have on prescribed medications. After retiring as a vet, Sue retrained as a Bowen Therapist and is still constantly amazed by the positive results Bowen can provide for numerous medical conditions. Sue has a special interest in working with TMJ dysfunction and Scars.
