SNOWBOARD INJURY EFFECTIVELY TREATED IN TWO DEEP OSCILLATION SESSIONS

With thanks to Dr. James Chiew, Chiropractor

"Wrist injuries top the list of common snowboarding injuries, mostly because with snowboarding, the feet aren't free to help break a fall. Athletes usually wind up landing on outstretched hands, leading to sprains, fractures or “jammed” wrists.

Here we have an avid snowboarder injuring her wrist. Initial presentation was immense bruising and pain. We performed therapy using the deep oscillation evident (electrostatic and friction) and laser therapy.

In just two sessions, we were able to achieve the following:

  • Reduction in pain, inflammation and fibrosis
  • Reabsorb oedema
  • Improves trophicity
  • Rubor reduction
  • Detoxification
  • Improve the quality of the tissue
