Movement for Lymphoedema with Healthy-Steps

Jackie Buller and Janet Capstick are the Co-Founders of Timeless Partnership established in 2004.  They met on a Holistic Therapy qualification course and discovered a mutual  passion for helping people with their health Issues.  Their previous careers complemented each other;  Janet's background was in Marketing and Jackie's in the Biomedical field of Pathology.  They decided they could run a successful business together.

Working with patients in NHS Lymphoedema Clinics they soon realised there was very little emotional support available for those living with Lymphoedema and there was minimal education for self-help.

Discovering  The Lebed Method, 10 years ago, they investigated further in a 'medically-based' and driven Movement Therapy resolving to help their client base by introducing Healthy-Steps Movement Therapy into their sessions.

In 2010 Janet and Jackie qualified as the only UK and Europe Healthy-Steps Instructors Trainers

HEALTHY STEPS CLASSES IN NHS CLINICS

Starting with those living with Lymphoedema, the Programme morphed into the Internationally acclaimed "Healthy-Steps moving you to better Health with the Lebed Method"  thus helping anyone with a chronic illness or problem. Props inject some fun into the sessions. Being suitable for all ages and abilities and with unique appeal, this health benefiting therapy has allowed them to take the Programme into Residential\Nursing homes, Hospices and many support groups including Breast Cancer Care, Parkinson's and Dementia Cafes.

In their spare time, Jackie enjoys gardening and "losing herself " in her greenhouse.  As an animal lover, she supports many animal charities and enjoys countryside walks with family,  friends and her dog "Lady".

Janet's interests include supporting children with complex needs and helping them to achieve their goals in life. She enjoys listening to amateur talent in the Country music and Folk scene.
