Personal Profile

 

Jina has been a complementary therapist for over 14 years and has treated a wide range of health conditions. She now predominantly practices Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and specialises in treating Lymphoedema, which involves a combination of MLD with compression bandaging. Jina has treated many patients with injuries and post-surgery conditions, including cosmetic surgery, Vaser liposuction and hip/knee replacements. In addition, she has a lot of experience in treating numerous cases of chronic fatigue syndrome, migraine/headaches, and patients recovering from illnesses such as cancer. Jina started her career as a Reflexologist and Aromatherapist in 2002. She then studied Craniosacral therapy at the College of Craniosacral Therapy in London 2004 and MLD Vodder Therapy I in London in 2004, followed by Vodder Therapy II & III at the Vodder Schule Clinic in Austria in 2006. While working as a holistic massage therapist, she frequently observed that there were patients who needed more than just physical contact treatments. These limitations inspired a desire to broaden her knowledge in order to offer a more complete holistic approach, prompting her to embark on a four-year BSc (Hons) course in Homeopathy at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London in 2009. Currently, she practices homeopathy either separately or in conjunction with MLD or other physical therapies she is trained in. She uses DEEP OSCILLATION® to treat various conditions including Lymphoedema, Lipoedema and Vaser-Lipo when appropriate. Understanding the importance of a holistic approach, Jina tailors individual treatments to patients’ needs, with each person treated as a whole for optimum health. Every two years, Jina updates her clinical skills at the Vodder Schule clinic in Austria, in addition to advanced training at the Foldi clinic in Germany. She is fully insured and a member of MLD UK, the UK’s leading professional organisation for MLD therapists.
