About Jana Novotna

Jana Novotna is a dedicated holistic massage therapist whose passion for massage therapy has been a lifelong journey. Growing up in an active household, her mother's enthusiasm for sports inspired Jana and her brother, as did her role as a PE teacher and her father's love of hiking. This active upbringing led Jana to become a competitive swimmer in her teenage years, a pursuit she still enjoys at Kentish Town Baths. Her brother, meanwhile, became a professional fitness trainer and sports therapist.

After several years working as an accountant, Jana recognised that her lack of physical movement did not align with her well-being. Upon moving to London, she decided to turn her passion into a profession by qualifying as a holistic massage therapist. She further enhanced her skills through training in deep tissue and advanced techniques and gained valuable experience as part of a prestigious spa team in London.

With an insatiable desire for knowledge, Jana has studied and qualified in various therapeutic modalities. She skilfully combines her diverse expertise to tailor treatments that address each client's unique needs, ensuring the best possible outcomes.

She currently operates out of a private room at the Gentle Movement Clinic, tailoring her treatments to meet each client's unique needs. As a registered and insured member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), Jana is fully qualified and experienced in:
