Head and Neck Lymphoedema - Self Management with Deep Oscillation

Through regular use of the Deep Oscillation Personal, my speech and ability to eat have improved, so that I can now eat almost anything (except lettuce ????). People who don't know me don't notice anything wrong with my speech at all. However, if I have spoken a lot, I still get a bit of a lisp as my tongue tires.
In February 2024, I had the side of my tongue debulked as it had become too large. Unfortunately, I got an infection, and instead of a two-week recovery, it was 10 weeks.
Once again, the Lymphodema flared up, so the deep oscillating machine was used twice daily to help reduce the swelling for a good six months,
To this day, I still use the machine daily, but I am down to using it only in the morning. I have a shorter cycle, now 13 minutes, and use it at the 70/80% intensity setting.
I would be lost without this, as my quality of life is so, so much better.
