    DEEP OSCILLATION®

Because of the non-invasive, non-traumatic, gentle nature of this therapy, very early possibilities of application are possible following injury and from Day One postoperatively. Chronic conditions can also be managed effectively.

DEEP OSCILLATION® is an internationally patented, proven technology based on the effects of creating an electrostatic field in the tissue of the patient. Easy application is from therapist to patient/client via hygienic, vinyl-gloved hands; utilising all normal massage movements or via circular movements over the tissue with a handheld applicator.

The special structure of DEEP OSCILLATION® enables the generation of biologically effective oscillations in the treated tissue through electrostatic attraction and release. In contrast to other therapies, these pleasant oscillations have a gentle, deep-acting effect on all tissue components to a depth of 8 cm (through the skin, connective tissue, subcutaneous fat, muscles, and lymphatic structures) with minimal pressure.

    *Integrating DEEP OSCILLATION® with Osteopathy

Gil seamlessly integrates DEEP OSCILLATION® into her clinic as a complementary therapy alongside her core osteopathic treatments. While the device comes with applicators, Gil primarily delivers the therapy directly through her gloved hands. This allows her to use her expert osteopathic palpation to constantly assess and understand what the tissues are doing beneath her fingers.

By combining her hands-on expertise with the machine's gentle electrostatic impulses, Gil can facilitate profound changes in oedema, fibrosis, and blood flow using significantly less physical pressure than traditional manual techniques. This highly effective, low-pressure approach actively supports and accelerates the body’s own natural healing processes.

Having completed a comprehensive, blended training and assessment programme, Gil uses her clinical judgement to determine when DEEP OSCILLATION® is the right treatment for the right patient. Because the therapy is so gentle and non-invasive, she can safely use it from day one post-surgery.

Gil utilises the therapy for anything that requires an improvement to fluid drainage, with specific clinical applications including: Post-Surgical Recovery & ScarWork, Musculoskeletal & Sports Injuries, Chronic Pain & Joint Conditions, Oedema & Respiratory Care

Personal Profile

Gillian Hind

Gill Hind M.Ost, DPO

Gill Hind is a dedicated Osteopath and Women's Health Specialist based in Rayleigh, Essex, who is passionate about helping patients view their bodies holistically to identify the root causes of their problems, rather than just treating symptoms.

Before entering the healthcare field, Gill spent over 20 years working as a computer programmer in the city. This background satisfied her "inner engineer" and helped her develop a unique talent for analysing data, thinking outside the box, and finding workable solutions. After discovering osteopathy by accident, she realised it was the perfect way to merge her skills and passions, prompting her to retrain for her Master's in Osteopathy.

Gill's deep empathy for her patients stems from her own health struggles. During her penultimate year of training, she contracted a flu-type virus that left her with years of all-consuming fatigue, brain fog, and chest pains. Experiencing what it was like to feel unheard and disbelieved gave her a profound understanding of the human body and what true recovery requires. Through this, she learned the importance of integrating mental and physical wellness, participating in research that combined osteopathy with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also qualified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which she often utilises alongside her hands-on manual skills.

Today, Gillian operates like a "detective," unpicking what is happening in a patient's body by exploring past trauma and history. She heavily focuses on women's health, empowering women to take back control of issues like endometriosis, painful periods, and fertility struggles, advocating that they shouldn't just have to "put up with" unexplained pain.

When she is not helping patients, Gillian enjoys spending time with her family and her two dogs, Odin and Woody. She finds quiet and balance in a busy world through walking, gardening, meditating, and crafting.
