DEEP OSCILLATION® In the treatment of chronic obstructive lung diseases

"A great number of our patients with orthopaedic, pulmonary and angiologic diseases has been treated with the device HIVAMAT® 200 over the past few months.  The diseases treated were mainly functional, degenerative or osteoporotic spinal pain syndromes, physical therapy of which could be considerably intensified by the unit.  The main focus was on patients with chronic obstructive lung diseased.  Despite comprehensive medication, thorax massage with HIVAMAT® 200 considerably increased the secretolytic effect with consequent alleviation for the patients.  Patients with edematous swellings of the limbs, especially lymphoedema, treatment of which is very difficult were extremely grateful - excellent results were achieved with the HIVAMAT® 200.

These effective results were not only based on subjective conclusions of the patients, but can be objectively proven by alteration of the tissue constitution.  Moreover, it should be stated that the massage administered is extremely gentle and the therapy is absolutely safe.

As a conclusion, it can be said that not only excellent therapy results may be accomplished with the device; the therapy is also very well accepted by patients.  The unit allows for a multi purpose and safe application.  In cost-benefit equation and in comparison to the other medical devices used, it turned out to be exceptionally favourable."
