Congratulations to Gemma Levine: Winner of ‘Charitable Champion 2026’ at the Mayfair Times Community Awards

PhysioPod® UK is delighted to announce that Gemma Levine has been crowned Charitable Champion 2026 at the prestigious Mayfair Times Community Awards. This accolade honours her tireless advocacy for St George’s Hospital Charity, which recently inspired a historic £4.8 million donation for lymphoedema research

"Gemma Levine stands between two men at an award ceremony, smiling as she receives the 'Charitable Champion' award. All are dressed formally. Behind them, a large screen displays her photo, the title 'Charitable Champion,' the word 'Winner,' and her name. The setting is warmly lit in orange tones, creating a celebratory atmosphere."

PhysioPod® UK Ltd is absolutely delighted to announce that our esteemed friend, Gemma Levine, has been honoured as the charity champion at the annual Mayfair Times Community Awards.

Claridge's packed its famous Art Deco ballroom for the awards ceremony, celebrating the very best of the community. This prestigious accolade recognises Gemma’s tireless dedication as a voluntary ambassador for St George's Hospital Charity. A celebrated photographer and author whose career spans over five decades, Gemma has become one of the UK's most vocal advocates for lymphoedema awareness since her diagnosis over 15 years ago.

Her passion and advocacy were recently credited as the direct inspiration for a historic £4.8 million donation to St George’s Hospital Charity, which will enable pioneering advances in lymphoedema research and care.

PhysioPod has proudly supported Gemma in promoting her photography books since April 2020, with proceeds contributing to this vital cause we hold dear. This public acknowledgement of Gemma's incredible efforts fills us with joy.

What’s Next for Gemma? Look out for an exclusive feature on Gemma in a forthcoming issue of The Mayfair Times. Additionally, Gemma is currently working on Swollen Silence, the first documentary about lymphoedema, which will feature Dame Judi Dench and Dame Joanna Lumley and will be shown this summer.

Congratulations, Gemma!
