"Having spent 16 years in the training industry, I found myself needing to make some significant life choices in order to take care of my own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Having qualified as a Massage Therapist in 2005, I turned to complementary and alternative therapies to see if they could help me with my stress and anxiety levels. The benefits I gained from the treatments were so significant, it became the driving force behind my decision to undertake further training and start MBS Therapies.
In 2012 I graduated in Reflexology and had an even greater desire to develop my practice further. I continued training in a range of therapies and styles of massage including Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage known as RLD. RLD is an award-winning reflexology technique that was developed to help those living with secondary Lymphoedema following breast cancer.
I always felt that there was more I could do to help people following surgery and trauma, so I qualified in Sharon Wheeler's ScarWork™ and the advanced practitioner training in ScarWork after breast cancer. Combining this with various types of massage including lymphatic drainage and myofascial release and specialist equipment including DEEP OSCILLATION® enables me to help people to feel better in themselves and about themselves.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR), a full member of the Complementary Health Professionals (CHP) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) for both Reflexology and Massage Therapy."
