Alison Rostron has been practising as a complementary therapist since 1984. She qualified from the Dr Vodder School of Manual Lymphatic Drainage in 2001 and since then has specialised in the treatment of lymphoedema. She works closely with members of the medical profession from whom she receives regular referrals, and is currently taking part in a clinical trial on the prevention of lymphoedema in women who have had surgery for breast cancer. A range of complementary therapies and sports massage are offered at the treatment centre.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is combined with DEEP OSCILLATION therapy, where appropriate, for the treatment of Lymphoedema and Lipoedema
Sports Massage
DEEP OSCILLATION is applied through vinyl gloved hands, the therapist is connected via an electrode, the patient holds a small titanium bar. It is gentle, relaxing and effective.
