ANN DOBSON RN, DipNN, IBCLC is a fully qualified Lactation Consultant accredited by International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) who specialises in Tongue-Tie Treatment and Breastfeeding and Infant Feeding issues.

Areas Covered

Within London and the surrounding areas, but also regularly practice in Devon, Kent, Cambridgeshire, and the M3 - M4 corridor,
Ann is flexible in the areas that she visit and so if you have any doubt, please contact Ann to discuss further. Additional travelling expenses will be charged for visits outside of London.

Referrals

Referrals are accepted from GPs, Midwives, Health Visitors, Infant Feeding Advisors and Doulas, but parents are more than welcome to contact directly for advice.

About Ann

Ann Dobson trained as a Nurse at University College Hospital in London and worked in the National Health Service for many years. Following the birth of her four children, including twins, she trained as a Nursery Nurse and worked with children with special needs. She worked as a Maternity Nurse for 20 years. In 2000 she qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and her work has taken her worldwide helping mothers and babies in different countries. More recently in 2005, she trained at Southampton General Hospital under the guidance of Mervyn Griffiths (Consultant Paediatric Surgeon) and Carolyn Wescott, to become a Specialist Practitioner to diagnose and treat Tongue-Ties. In 2009 she completed a Post Graduate Diploma course in Psychanalytic Baby Observations at the Tavistock and Portman Clinic, through East London University.

Ann Dobson has recently added DEEP OSCILLATION® therapy to her treatments aiding mother and baby in the lactation process.
