New research results for DEEP OSCILLATION® therapy

At the occasion of the “Rehabilitacíon sin Fronteras” Congress in mid-March in Cienfuegos, the Cuban Ministry of Health presented a series of new research studies on DEEP OSCILLATION®

The CEO of PHYSIOMED ELEKTROMEDIZIN AG, Jens Reinhold, in discussion with Dr. Solangel Hernández Tapanes and two researchers during the congress.

The symptoms of the following indications were researched: Sudecks’s disease - SRD (stage II), fibro-cystic mastopathy, chronic cervical spondylo-arthrosis, acute lumbalgy and acute mechanical cervical syndrome. It is expected that all hitherto unpublished research results will be presented collectively in a book at the end of this year.

Rebecka Blenntoft to lecture at The Equine Podiatry Association 2012 Conference Thursday 27th April
Rebecka Blenntoft - Dr Vodder Schule (Austria) trained therapist, will be lecturing Manual Lymphatic Drainage and will discuss the role of the horse’s lymphatic system, how it differs from the human system and how to use therapies to help with oedema. DEEP OSCILLATION® will be incorporated into the lecture as a treatment for this condition.

Rebecka Blenntoft to lecture at The Annual Conference of The Institute of Chiropodists and Podiatrists in Southport
Rebecka Blenntoft - Dr Vodder Schule (Austria) trained therapist, will be lecturing at the event on Saturday 28th April 2012 on Lower Limb Lymphodema - Causes, Diagnosis and Treatment (MLD) - DEEP OSCILLATION® will be incorporated into the lecture as a treatment for this long term condition.

Positive Touch for Tsunami Children - PhysioPod UK Limited support
Mary Atkinson, Complementary Therapist, Author and Tutor, is heading an extremely worthwhile project to bring a 'Positive Touch' to the lives of children affected by last year’s Tsunami in Japan. In a bid to raise funds for the project, she held a special Japanese Evening on March 10 - the anniversary weekend of the Tsunami. Local Chichester businesses including - "Not So Sushi" attended, as well as Japanese students from Chichester College. The evening included an auction, raffle and tombola and raised £1500 towards Mary and Richard's trip to Japan which starts Thursday April 19th.
