Daylong Direct Celebrates Seven Decades of Compression Care Excellence

Julie and I recently had the absolute pleasure of attending the NW Lymphoedema United Roadshow, where we watched a brilliant presentation by Sarah Donald from Daylong Direct. We were both incredibly impressed with her talk and the fantastic practical products she showcased.

Daylong Direct, which recently celebrated its 70th birthday in 2025, has a simple but vital goal: to make clinically effective compression hosiery accessible to all. Growing from their very first shop in London, they acquired their Dispensing Appliance Contractor (DAC) license in 1985, allowing patients to easily receive their essential stockings through an NHS prescription.
