“My daughter gave birth to a 7lb 9oz baby after a long labour and normal delivery. I was excited to be able to use the DEEP OSCILLATION® personal unit and postpartum card. I commenced treatment day 2-post delivery on my daughter’s abdomen and inguinal nodes to encourage the uterus to contract. I also treated her back over the area of epidural insertion, which was bruised and uncomfortable. (Caesarian programme). Study Finds Genetic Link to Lymphedema
Breast cancer survivors who develop lymphedema after treatment for their cancer have a genetic predisposition to do so, according to a new study published in PLoS ONE. The study also found that the risks of developing lymphedema increased significantly for women who had more advanced breast cancer at the time of their diagnosis, a high body mass index, or increased number of lymph nodes removed.

Rebecka Blenntoft lectures on the Human and Equine Lymphatic Systems to Vet Physiotherapists in Finland
At the beginning of February 2013, Rebecka Blenntoft was the guest of Jens Grubl, Product Manager of SAGA Spatech, Finland to lecture to Finnish Vet Physiotherapists about the human and equine lymphatic systems, what happens when they become compromised and the treatments available; lymphatic drainage with DEEP OSCILLATION®, compression (bandaging and kinesio taping) and wound healing, amongst other topics on the agenda were healthy equine diets. Julie Soroczyn and Mary Fickling, Directors of PhysioPod UK Limited accompanied Rebecka as they are the company soley responsible for introducing DEEP OSCILLATION® to the equine world in the UK/Ireland six years ago.
