Di Rayment MCSP SRP (Physiotherapist)
Diana graduated from the Middlesex Hospital in London over 20 years ago. She initially based herself in the NHS to get invaluable all round experience, before going on to run the physio department at a hospital in West London. She gained her first experience in sports injuries by taking on the role of team physio to a local rugby team in addition to working with the Arsenal club doctor at his clinic for 5 years, whilst still maintaining her work within the NHS in the Out Patient Department. Diana quickly went on to set up her Sports Injuries Clinic based at West London Stadium and Kensington Sports Centre in Notting Hill. She was then asked to be the team physio for Thames Valley Harriers Athletic Club, and so was involved in preparing elite athletes for competitions and travelling with the team to races all over the UK. She became the personal physio to Linford Christie shortly after this, and was with him for 8 years, during which time he won his Olympic gold medal in Barcelona. Working with Linford also gave her the chance to work with other top Olympians on warm weather training trips and competition, including Colin Jackson, Darren Campbell and Tessa Sanderson. When Linford retired from top class athletics, Diana was taken on as the physio for the pro basketball team London Towers, based at Wembley Stadium. For over 3 years she was with the players both at home and away training camps and matches in the UK and in Europe. Diana continued to run her clinic in Notting Hill until 5 years ago, when she relocated to the North West. Since then, she has worked as an associate physio for Paul Chadwick, the former Liverpool Football Club physio, at his clinic in Formby, before taking over the Halton Physio & Sports Injury Clinic in Widnes.
