About Kate John

In 2009 Kate's mother was diagnosed with secondary Lymphoedema following breast cancer and it soon became clear  to Kate that there was a profound shortage of professionally trained therapists able to provide the treatment her mother needed.

Her interest in the treatment of Lymphoedema grew and in 2012 Kate enrolled in the world famous FOLDI clinic in Germany where she qualified as a CDT and MLD therapist and became a full member of MLD UK.

From 2013-2017 Kate worked at the Lymphoedema clinic at the Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge.

In 2016 she furthered her qualifications by training in the new FG-MLD technique, with Jane Wigg.   Kate keeps up to date with the latest findings and technology in order to give the best possible treatment to her patients.

In 2017 Kate gained BUPA recognition status.
