In a television report made available by the German Online News specialists RBB, the treatment of Lymphoedema with Kinesio Taping was presented. In an interview, Dr. Annett Reißhauer from CHARITÉ UNIVERSITÄTSMEDIZIN BERLIN, discusses various forms of effective therapy for the maintenance and care of Lymphoedema, which is both a chronic and lifelong condition.

In this context, it is
interesting to note that alongside manual lymphatic drainage techniques
and the use of compression stockings and bandages, DEEP OSCILLATION® is
the only scientifically approved therapy form for the treatment of
Lymphoedema.

Rebecka Blenntoft to lecture at The Equine Podiatry Association 2012 Conference Thursday 27th April
Rebecka Blenntoft - Dr Vodder Schule (Austria) trained therapist, will be lecturing Manual Lymphatic Drainage and will discuss the role of the horse’s lymphatic system, how it differs from the human system and how to use therapies to help with oedema. Positive Touch for Tsunami Children - PhysioPod UK Limited support
Mary Atkinson, Complementary Therapist, Author and Tutor, is heading an extremely worthwhile project to bring a 'Positive Touch' to the lives of children affected by last year’s Tsunami in Japan. In a bid to raise funds for the project, she held a special Japanese Evening on March 10 - the anniversary weekend of the Tsunami. Local Chichester businesses including - "Not So Sushi" attended, as well as Japanese students from Chichester College. The evening included an auction, raffle and tombola and raised £1500 towards Mary and Richard's trip to Japan which starts Thursday April 19th.
